The session is guided by local artist Michelle, as we paint our Octopus artworks on canvas. During the session we draw the curtains and turn off the nights, to finish off with neon paints. During the session I provide a live demonstration, to help participants visualise and see firsthand a number of tips and tricks. Each participant will make x1 item included in ticket price. Come along for a beautiful session creating, in a relaxed setting and enjoy the steps to create a dried flower artwork made by yourself. We use create our stunning designs using real dried flowers, in a 4x6 size frame. As shown in photos. Adult must attend with child for safety as there is glass involved. x1 ticket =x1 frame per person, if you are attending with your child and wish to make your own, you will require to purchase a ticket all so. Tuesday session Please note there will be no session on Tues 3 Nov, due to the Melbourne Cup 👩‍🎨Has your child shown interest in art? After school Art Sessions Term 4 2026 @ The Creative Art Studio, is the perfect way to give your child the opportunity to explore and grow. Throughout the term children local Mackay artist Michelle, will prepare themed weekly sessions and mentor/guide the group. To create with a variety of Polymer Clay, watercolour, pastel & Acrylic Paint techniques, with lots of colour! Suitable for ages 6-12years. - what we will cover over the term… •Watercolour, pastel & acrylic paint techniques •Drawing/template artworks. This may be adjusted due to group interests etc. $40 per week, all art materials supplied Take advantage of afterpay Child to bring water bottle and to have had afternoon tea prior. I do have a blue card to work with children and am a mum myself. There is no toilet in the shop, however I will walk down the children as a group for safety. It is recommended that children wear casual clothes, not school clothes to avoid stains. Photos of the children's artwork will be taken each week. A final group photo of each group, please advise if you do not wish your child's face to appear on social media. Missed sessions due to participant, non-refundable. Kids are welcome to attend on their own, or guardians can purchase a seat and join in the creative fun. During this session was use mixed media (felt pens, crayons and pencils) on A4 paper, we then draw the curtains and get creative with glow paints. Participants paint their very own Halloween artworks to take home. Enjoy a relaxed, group environment where creativity is encouraged and supported by a friendly teacher with beginner-friendly step-by-step guidance. Please bring your own water bottle and snacks. ✨ Limited seats available – bookings are essential

Adult must attend with participating child in this school holiday session. Enjoy creating, in a relaxed setting and enjoy the steps to a create a beautiful mosaic artwork. Choose either a photo frame or trinket tray, x1 per person Our tables will be filled with a range of coloured mosaics, as we design stunning patterns. All supplies included and guidance to create your masterpiece. Participants will take home a grout kit to fill in the gaps with beautiful white grout. A demonstration will be provided during the session. This step is done at home because the glue needs to dry completely before grouting. BYO your favourite beverage and nibbles, if you please.
