Seats are limited and bookings essential. via this link only https://events.humanitix.com/active-lifestyles-watercolour-workshop-mackay RSL Queensland has selected Active Lifestyles events throughout Queensland to provide opportunities for veterans, current serving Defence members, partners, and children to take part in activities while connecting with fellow members of the Defence family. In this workshop you will be shown demonstrations of basic watercolour techniques before experimenting with watercolours to create your own beautiful artwork. This workshop requires no previous experience and is a great opportunity to try a new hobby with other like-minded people. Requirements This activity is open to Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners, and children 5 years or older. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. A light morning tea will be provided. Cost: Free Please note that prior to the event, you will be required to complete an RSL QLD waiver. This will be emailed to you after registration. All attendees will be unable to participate without completing the waiver. Cancellation Policy
Bookings must be paid in full to secure your spot. After you purchase a ticket, we hold a spot for you, purchase and prepare materials, arrange refreshments. If you are no longer able to attend, or if something unforeseen prevents your participation, we can offer funds to be transferred to another class, placed in credit ( 12 months validity) if given more than 7 days notice. This gives us an opportunity to pass the ticket on to someone else. Tickets are non-refundable, all purchases are final. No refund provided for a No Show. If WE have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances you will be notified of a reschedule date. If this is not suitable you will then be given an option for a credit. A credit is valid for 12 months and can be redeemed on any future class, availability permitting. Minimums numbers are required for sessions to operate. As the event draws near, I will be in touch for reconfirmation as the session continues or to advise the session is cancelled, and a refund will be provided for the event ticket price less a $15 admin fee.
